The Coffee Digest shipping rates are based upon rates provided by USPS /UPS and are calculated based upon weight, location, and your requested shipment speed. Higher rates apply to Hawaii, Alaska, and APO.
We do not ship on weekends. Orders typically ship out the next day, however in some cases it may be up to 5 days. Keep an eye out for an email with your tracking information!
Please note additional fees may be charged where you require an address redirect or return once an item is in the hands of a carrier. Customers are responsible for the accuracy of all shipping address details.
Upon placing an order, we process them in the order they are received. Our goal is to ship all orders that are received by 2pm EST M-F business days only the next day (excludes holidays). This includes any shipments that are drop shipped by our various vendors. This policy may be delayed during peak shopping times and may delay your order 1-4 business days from being shipped. If the order is on back order there will be a delay in your purchase, and you will be contacted by a customer service representative if your item becomes no longer available and an immediate refund will be given.
All orders are shipped with tracking information that will be emailed directly to you once the order has been processed. For large orders insurance and a signature will be required to deliver the item(s). Depending upon the location of your shipment we will utilize USPS, UPS or FEDEX.
Shipping. The Coffee Digest will undertake shipping of products using a domestic or international carrier of its choosing. All domestic rates are stated on site but may vary on any given order due to over-weight, over-size, out of area shipping as well as duties/customs charges. You agree to pay all shipping, carrier fees and customs charged to you by The Coffee Digest and agree that all ownership of product passes to you once the product is in the hands of the shipping company. Your shipping with The Coffee Digest is an acceptance of these shipping terms.
Stock Status. The Coffee Digest will attempt to timely update the status flags showing whether an item becomes unavailable or is discontinued. However, we cannot guarantee that the goods and services advertised on the Website will be available when ordered. Where an item is out of stock The Coffee Digest we will notify you and cancel the order. When the item becomes available it will be your responsibility to replace the order at your convenience. For orders with more than one item, any in stock items will be shipped, you will be notified, and the out of stock items will be canceled. Any payments made for out of stock items will be will be credited. The Coffee Digest is not responsible for order delays caused by out of stock items.
Misprints, Abuse. The Coffee Digest does not warrant that the Website or any The Coffee Digest Webstore purchased from this Website, including without limitation product descriptions, photographs of products, and prices are accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free; and we reserve the right to cancel, to terminate or not to process orders (including accepted orders) where the price or other material information on this site is inaccurate or when we recognize abuse of our policies.
Warehouses. All orders will be shipped by The Coffee Digest from one of its warehouse locations. The selection of the warehouse is at The Coffee Digest's sole election although efforts will be made to use the closest possible warehouse to the delivery address subject to stock availability. The Coffee Digest may use USPS, FedEx, or UPS for shipping with such determination at The Coffee Digest's election. Please contact The Coffee Digest directly for more details on product shipping.
Summer Shipping Policy.
The Coffee Digest recommends that customers using our product data remove heat sensitive items from their product range and online stores from June to late September to avoid heat related product issues during transport. You are advised to review any order for product items that may be sensitive to melting or tainting due to summer heat prior to order finalization. Customers placing orders are liable for any product damage that may occur due to heat damage. By placing an order for heat sensitive items, customer expressly acknowledges that The Coffee Digest cannot guarantee the quality of any heat sensitive product requested to be shipped and that any extra shipping charges or replacement product costs will be at the sole expense of the customer placing the order.
Non-Perishable Items. Except for food or other perishable items, The Coffee Digest accepts the return of any product within the first thirty (30) days of the date the order was placed and only if the product is unopened and unused. Any returns may be subject to a 10% restocking fee at The Coffee Digest's sole election. Credit will be provided upon The Coffee Digest's physical receipt of the returned product. Please note that shipping charges are not refundable unless The Coffee Digest is found to have shipped the incorrect, or an expired item. Perishable Items. Food and other perishable items are not returnable and non-refundable unless the item is out of date on the date of arrival or the wrong item was shipped. Please contact our customer services at firstname.lastname@example.org for return and credit instructions.
You should expect to receive your credit within three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a credit more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), and the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days).
